For example, in 2018, we participated as ACS (American Cultural Studies) in the Monsters talks series, which took place at Pacto Bar in Providencia (Santiago) organized by Universidad de Chile graduate Orlando Cisternas, basically as a fun way to explore several different monsters from American literature, including Moby Dick. We also organized several international zoom sessions, including one with Chilean-American pop star Maria Del Pilar, and another with Chilean-American playwright and actress Camila Le-Bert. Throughout the semester, students also give group presentations and coordinate all-you- can-eat Saturday morning brunches. Fun!
